Welcome to The Opta Leaders!

 

This document outlines the terms and conditions (“Terms”) governing your access to and use of all platforms operated by Opta Consulting Private Limited, including The Opta Leaders, (www.theoptaleaders.com), community platform (club.theoptaleaders.com), newsletter platform (stories.theoptaleaders.com) and associated services (“Services”).

All associated brands and intellectual property are owned and managed by Opta Consulting Private Limited including Opta Recruit (www.optarecruit.com).

By using our Services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, discontinue use of our Services immediately.

1. Overview of Services

The Opta Leaders provides career and leadership development resources, membership-based access to a learning management system, community forums, and other related content, such as webinars and blog articles. Additional value added services may be offered from time to time including but not limited to affiliate services, workshops, other memberships, certifications and diplomas. All Services, paid or free, are subject to these Terms.

2. User Eligibility and Obligations

Eligibility Requirements

  • You must be 18 years or older to use our Services or have parental/guardian consent if under 18.

  • By creating an account, you confirm the information provided is accurate and complete.

General User Obligations

  • Users must comply with applicable laws and regulations while using our Services.

  • Users are responsible for safeguarding their account credentials and activity.

3. Community Guidelines

Code of Conduct

Participation in our community is contingent on adherence to these guidelines:

  1. Respectful Communication: Avoid hate speech, offensive language, profanity, or sexually explicit content.

  2. Non-Religious and Non-Political Nature: Discussions around religion and politics are discouraged to maintain neutrality.

  3. No Spam or Self-Promotion: Unauthorized advertising or solicitation within the community is prohibited.

  4. Prohibited Activities: Fraudulent behavior, harassment, and other unethical actions will not be tolerated.

Reporting Violations

Violations of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account. Users can report violations by sending an email to support@theoptaleaders.com

4. Payment Terms and Refund Policy

Fees and Charges

  • All fees are listed in INR and are subject to applicable taxes in India.

  • For users based outside of India, the currency options offered will be automatically applicable based on the location of the user. Currently only USD and EUR are available, and are subject to applicable taxes in India.

Refunds

  • Refunds are not available in general

  • However for specific memberships where stated explicitly you may apply for a refund.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All content provided by The Opta Leaders, including but not limited to text, graphics, trademarks, and course materials, is owned or licensed by us. Users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access this content for personal use only.

Prohibited Uses

  • Copying, distributing, or reverse-engineering any proprietary material without express written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • No Warranties: Services are provided on an “as-is” basis without warranties of any kind.

  • No Guarantee of Results: We do not guarantee that participation in our programs will lead to career or business success.

  • Indemnification: Users agree to indemnify and hold The Opta Leaders harmless from claims arising from their use of our Services.

8. Termination and Suspension of Accounts

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for:

Termination does not absolve users of payment obligations already incurred.

The Opta Leaders reserves the right to modify its Services or these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication. It is the User’s responsibility to review these Terms regularly.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal.

11. Additional Provisions

Force Majeure

The Opta Leaders is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to unforeseen circumstances, including natural disasters, pandemics, or technical failures.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Opta Leaders.
